September 4, 2015 - SunnEvents returned as a proud official sponsor of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture's First Friday Labor Day event.

This year featured a presentation of our Labor Day costume theme Cool Waters promoting water conservation, designed by our Creative Director of Special Projects, M. Denala Ndake Hall.

The evening also introduced Pop-Up Exhibition: Caribbean Carnival, curated by our CEO, Troy Belle. This exhibition celebrated and showcased some of the materials pertaining to Caribbean carnival and culture that are held in the Schomburg Center's Jean Blackwell Hudson Research and Reference Division.

Special Thanks to our partner Tropical Fete Inc, the sklllful creative hands of Tunu Thom of @artistmommylife and the Schomburg Center staff.
