YoungArts Foundation 2015 Young Artists Prize – Due October 17 – “identifies and nurtures emerging artists ages 15-18 (or in grades 10-12) in the visual, literary, design and performing arts.”
Open Society Foundation Soros Justice Fellowships – Due October 22 – “fund outstanding individuals to undertake projects that advance reform, spur debate, and catalyze change on a range of issues facing the U.S. criminal justice system.”
Frameline Completion Fund – Due October 31 – “for documentary, educational, narrative, animated or experimental projects about LGBTQ people and their communities.”
American Academy in Rome Prize - Due November 1 - “awarded to about thirty emerging artists and scholars who represent the highest standard of excellence and who are in the early or middle stages of their working lives.”
Freedoms Foundation Leavey Awards – Due November 1 – “recognizes educators at the elementary, junior high school, high school, and college levels for innovative and effective techniques in teaching entrepreneurship and the free enterprise education. Up to twenty cash awards are made annually valued at $7,500 each.”
